AARP announced Wednesday it will recognize 50 employers as the 2005 Best Employers for Workers over 50. California boasts three of the top 50 employers, two of which, Scripps Heath and Girl Scouts, are in San Diego.

San Diego’s pension board decided in closed session Tuesday to release documents subpoenaed in ongoing investigations and necessary for the 2003 audit. KPBS reporter Alison St John has more.
