City attorney wants SEC agreement in council’s open session

San Diego City Attorney Mike Aguirre on Tuesday made public the proposed agreement he wants to make with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The so-called Consent Decree would leave individual city council members to fight their own legal battles with the SEC. KPBS reporter Alison St. John has more.

Workers’ Comp may allow out-of-state doctor review

State regulators have proposed allowing workers’ comp insurance companies to use out-of-state doctors to review medical claims. Under new workers comp rules, insurers who disagree with a treatment decision can ask outside physicians to provide a second opinion. KPBS Reporter Kenny Goldberg has more.
