City attorney to sue over alleged pension board ‘conspiracy’
October 4th, 2005San Diego City Attorney Mike Aguirre repeated his assertion that he will sue union leaders and city officials over an alleged “conspiracy” that led the city’s pension board to violate its fiduciary duty. Aguirre still hasn’t publicly named the officials he’s accusing. But he says all the evidence he needs is in a new batch of documents provided by the pension board under a federal subpoena.
