One of the San Diego’s oldest and largest independent accounting firms, La Jolla-based Coradino, Hickey and Hanson, merged with Irvine-based accounting and consulting corporation Robert R. Redwitz & Co.

Appeals court to issue ruling in Lesbian/insemination case

The state’s Fourth District Court of Appeals held a hearing Tuesday, on whether religious freedom can be used as a defense under California’s anti-discrimination laws. The case involves some North County doctors who refused to provide artificial insemination to a lesbian. KPBS Reporter Kenny Goldberg has the story.
