In San Diego, authorities say they’ve located the U.S. exit to a “massive” cross-border tunnel that began near the Tijuana, Mexico, airport. Officials say the tunnel was apparently used for smuggling people or drugs.

San Diego is one of the top five U.S. cities attracting foreign investors’ commercial real estate investment dollars, according to a survey released by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), but there are indications the activity is slowing down.

San Diego Superior Court officials are in the process of contacting people who made payments to the court after the theft of more than $60,000 in cash, checks and credit card receipts at the East County Courthouse last weekend. Sheriff’s investigators are now seeking a veteran court supervisor who has been missing since the incident.
